because what is wrong with giving a predominantly low elo community a unique skin every year, just for still being here.

It cheapens the effort put into the climb people make to gold for the skin. It also opens them up to more criticism over stupid stuff. Why did X get the skin. Now it'll be forever before they get another one. Grant Champs for free to players. Resource and opportunity cost. Working on the freebie they aren't working on other stuff.

In other words just learn and climb like gold and up did.

No, saying getting gold is easy, cheepens the effort I have put into the game over the years, i have MORE than 3000 normal games, and 1500 ranked games over my years of play. I am not good enough to get THE SINGLE UNIQUE SKIN RELEASED A YEAR. I CANT EVEN BUY A UNIQUE SKIN NOT AVAILABLE TO OTHERS. this pisses me off so much, whats wrong with giving people that arent good, even though they have put tons of effort and time in just because they are not good enough to aquire THE SINGLE UNIQUE SKIN A YEAR. i would be happy with having a minimal 300 ranked games a year to get a JUDGEMENT line of skin.

Why? Why do you care? Also I'm silver, not gold. If you really want that skin the only way to get it is to improve. Focus on problem areas not stand here and beg for handouts.
