It's been like this ever since pool party and only premades could participate. I don't know if you were here season 4 but they had double IP weekends for everyone instead of this premade rewards shit. Riot doesn't care about solo players, they won't release solo queue because dynamic queue doesn't work without solo players to fill out the 4 man teams.

bonus ip? i dont think you get bonus ip in groups unless its for a special event. I just played with premades dont think I got any bonus. I usually play solo most of the time.
