Ever since the server switch, nothing has really changed. Sure, my ping has gone down, but I get random packet loss during games that sometimes makes the game unenjoyable and unplayable. I connect to literally every other game perfectly fine, without random, massive packet loss. I love League of Legends, but I'm not going to be able to continue to play this game with shit tier servers.
Yeah I remember their old servers way back like a year and half ago were crappy easy to hit Level 3 Communications and seems like they cheap out to be honest on servers. Black Ops 2 League Play had the same servers as league of legends back then. I personally don't experience lag or packet loss but I wouldn't really be surprised if many do. Also does anybody else randomly get horrible FPS in game then its gone next game or if I close out of my client then relog? I have multiple friends who have it but it rarely occurs and only in the past around a month or two.
