Well i mean, i dont know either of you but 1v1's do not really prove much. They can go both ways and sure, they do depend mostly on the player's mechanical skill, there is often little decision making behind it.

Meanwhile, he is challenger because he is most likely a much better player than you in his ability to work with his team, and strategize accordingly.

How many times have you been super fed in lane, just to meet an equally fed enemy laner and be absolutely decimated because their team is stronger than yours?

You may or may not be the better Yasuo player, but at the same time you're supposedly stuck in Diamond V while he is challenger. There's a reason for that.
