How did people get Championship Thresh/Riven?
I know that there was a big event in the end of S3 that you could acquire these skins, but how did people get it in code form?

When you go to Worlds, you get the Code version of the skin. For season 2, it was Champ Riven, and for Season 3, it was champ thresh. Champ thresh is still available to get through mystery gifts and sometimes out in the open to buy. Champ riven on the other hand is not. Only way is buying it online through a site like e-bay or amazon
Championship Thresh will probably come back for purchase during next years worlds. Same with Championship Shyvana most likely.
Riven on the other hand, doubt thats ever going to return for purchase. Only method of getting it atm is buying someones code on Ebay for 300$
If I remember correctly in code form they have out for NA I believe it was only shyvanna out. Whereas Korea gotten a bundle of Riven, Thresh, and Shyvanna. Which kinda makes sense because if I remember correctly they didn't have a server when thresh and riven came out!
As for non codes you could buy it in the store during worlds championship event. But only thresh and shyvanna was available because they are label as legacy! Riven on the other hand is still considered Limited Edition, but a rioter stated that any skin that was made available in the store could come back. And that since championship riven was in the store before it could come back but probably not till 2016! So you'll just have to wait if you really want it!
Yeah, at worlds they give out the codes for the Championship skins. Season 2: Riven, Season 3: Thresh, Season 4: Shyvana. Then you can also buy them in the store during worlds when they made them available. Right now though, only Thresh and Shyvana can still be gotten as Riven is a limited edition, and won't be re-released till at least 2016.
