I like how the reason they updated the client was the store

Huh? They absolutely did not do a client update just to change the store. You have to intentionally ignore any info they've put out and all the numerous other changes to come to this conclusion.

how is it worse? i haven't once had the new client completely deny me access to the store, which happened more often than it didn't in the old client.

Funny, i have it happen every single day now i have to relog to access store, and never had it happen before.

Dunno where the problem is, as it really isn't all the common with the new client now (it was bad in the old client tho, at least for me, every time I opened store it would give me a Commando Galio splash that said time out or something before it self-reloaded into it, which sometimes also would fail which I would need to re-log), but consider hitting the repair function or reinstalling the game.

For me, it hasn't happened since the new client. I guess we're on the opposite of this spectrum.

Back on the old client when I used to run into this issue every time I opened the shop, after multiple failed attempts of trying to get rid of it, I kinda just ended up living with it. It's now how I remember the old shop funnily enough. This issue hasn't appeared to me after the great migration to the new client.

But yeah as I was saying, try repairing and reinstalling. Otherwise I am not sure where the issue is either, and soz I really can't help.

I mean, i had galio pop up on the old client, but i could still use the store. On the new client i cant even access the store without reloading League. which is a decided downgrade.

Yeah except the store isn't the sole reason behind the update.

I do agree that the new client has various issues of its own at the moment through, performance being probably the biggest issue for me.
