another go after sucking with him on release, he seems meta at the moment.
If you're looking to master supports, here are some generally good ones:
Almost never banned; the king of peel
Counters lots of cc supports; has a 10-year bind; almost never banned
Has excellent engage and peel; very versatile; not banned as much any more
I wouldn't recommend trying to master OP champs like 
right now, since she's banned most of the time. If you can pick her often enough, however, go for it.
