The expectation of the random individual
I'm somewhat confused by this expectation that if you dare que, you should be the next faker or trick 2g or hotshot gg. God forbid if you're in normals and you're pre level 30 you're not AWESOME at everything you do. Even when you do good, its not better than ME. I don't understand this mentality, I don't understand it in draft, blind, or aram.
I least understand it on Aram. Am I wrong or isn't Aram to have some fun and just play but people act like its worlds and losing this will kill their aunt, uncle, babysister, and cat in one fell swoop. I just don't know what to do anymore, in three days of playing this game I've become afraid to say anything in chat, unable to play even a recreational round without being called X or Y, be expected to be the second coming of faker in normals.
How bad is ranked if the other 90% of the game is this toxic and horrid?
Just to be clear I like league, I like playing league, but my 'team mates' are starting to outweigh the love of the game. I'm pushing towards team builder hoping for some sanctuary and it can't come fast enough.
Am I expecting too much to think I can just que and play a game without having the wieght of seven strangers expectations on me. That I'm allowed a period of learning how to play the game, or is everyone supposed to be gaming gods past level 3? Should I never leave bots despite being more skilled than bots and finding no challenge in them? I'm at a loss on how to continue...
Should I just play on a different server than NA? Are any other servers better? At this point I don't mind the ping.
