Disabling all chat and possibly muting your team
I do not use All Chat, I have it disabled from the start and my chat is to the lowest the sliding scale will allow. I thought this would help me focus and concentrate improving my overall play. But what I've discovered is that most of the time, I've ended up muting the entirety of my own team to keep my focus. Is this a normal thing?
How many people play with no chat How many people weather whatever their allies are throwing into chat How many people use all chat and whatever the enemy team wants to throw at them
I'll say it right now, I get angry, not easily but when I'm attacked or falsely accused I get defensive; its a psychological trait I've had since I was young. I find myself ignoring the chat or 'muting' them to keep my concentration and stop myself from tilting. I tried for the first few levels of my account from 1 to 10 to just use the chat normally, then from 10-13 I had to disable all chat because the flames and taunts were getting too aggressive. Finally I ended up muting my entire team every match from 13-15. People don't want to talk, they want to taunt, tease, yell, and fight so I don't think muting them is a bad thing but I'm scared I might get reported for failure to communicate because I don't.. I don't because I'm scared to communicate besides using pings.
Is this abnormal?
