so there was a wukong in my game.... i main wukong, so i saw him building completely wrong for the situation. but i didn't speak up, i didn't wanna be that guy that tells people how to build. so, after the game, i quite calmly explain to him why the items he built was wrong. he raged at me. even added me to rage at me more. saying i'm a bad wukong... like hes any better lmfao i checked hes stats hes got a 40% winrate, sure mines only 57%, but it sure is better than 40% lmao.

Why would he rage at me tho?, i was trying to help. I even waited until after the game to avoid coming off as "toxic", i didn't wanna be that guy. why rage at someone that's giving solid advice....

People think they're right lol. I saw a Shaco building completely wrong once, back when I played Shaco constantly, and explained to him why that item he built was not very good on Shaco and the dude raged hardcore. I just think people can't handle being told they're wrong. OR they could be like my friend and just pretend like they meant to do it, then if it works, proceed to tell everybody how OP/Broken it is because it worked ONE TIME in ONE GAME where everybody on the team was positive. Then tries it again later, get stomped out and says "insert champ he is vs here is fucking OP, they need nerfed." Couldn't be that build, clearly.

Some people dont like to be critisized, and maybe he did it as a defensive mechanism. Some people just dont accept judgement is all, the best thing to do it just to mute/ forget about them!

well realistically you shouldn't flat out tell someone there wrong in this game it never ends well you can ask them to explain why they chose the item but then explain the perks of the item you suggest in a non descending way and if they choose not accept your advice then don't worry about it if they start to harass you afterward block em it there for a reason

Don't argue with kids, just kindly give the information and leave them alone. You've done your work.

He was just angry that he lost and wanted to take it out on someone, it helps to gauge how stable someone is before giving constructive criticism.

I've had Vaynes with 20% win rates tell me how to play and how great they are.

Stats don't lie, people do.

Some people just can't take criticism. Forget them and move on. Focus on people who will actually listen to solid advice and not people who are gonna waist your time.

winrates mean very little. you can find bronze 5 wukongs with above 57% winrate. does that mean they are better than you?

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how nice you try to be. Some people just don't like being told they were wrong, and that they could have done something better. I've been guilty of this; I was playing an ARAM and got Trundle. The entire enemy team was AP, so one player suggested we build a certain item. I was already building MR, so I figured I was fine. They called me out because by midgame I was the only person without this item, so I told them off and muted them.

I commend you for waiting until after the game to give him your opinions. You avoided creating tension during the game, but still tried to assist him.
