A list of things that needs to be added to LoL (Not Gameplay) -- Community Compilation
A Community Compilation of Things Players Would Like Added -- NOTE: This is Not Player, Item, or Gameplay Balance
Out of Game Ping Check -- Ping is always the bane of any player, especially if they are in areas that are far from the LoL server's. An out of game ping tester allowing players to see their current ping and average ping would save many players from entering a game only to be surprised by a 300 ping.
AFK and Disconnected Compensation -- Many players are led to rage and tilt because of games lost to a player who isn't even in the game. Many different solutions to this have been provided over the years. A few include:
-Do not punish players in ranked if they lost due to an AFK. If a player on their team is AFK for a certain amount of time, the LP loss for the losing team will be less significant than if they had lost with no AFK. -If a player is AFK for a certain amount of time, replace their player with a Bot, who has a varying amount of programed skill depending on the averge ranks of the players in the game. Options to this could even include programming the Bot to respond to pings and other key words in the chat. This idea could be implemented as optional, and activated by a team vote. -Add a way of safely leaving a game when someone fails to connect at the start. This could include simply reverting all players back to champ select in a custom queue that allows a person to join, filling the AFK's space, or even just adding a simple "surrender due to lack of players" option at the beginning when a person does not connect
Animated Loading Screens -- This has been mentioned many times before, and have even been supplied by some of the community themselves. Some examples are as follows:
The Ability to Shift Player Order's in the Loading Screen (As submitted by CheftoniFTW) --** "In-game, when you hit TAB, you can move the champions around in order that you like (Usually, I put them in order of lanes). This should be an option during loading screen, moving around the champion portraits."**
