Can anyone define it as it apply's to this forum ? I mean seriously I believe I know what it is, but I don't see it applied ... So, can anyone give me examples of such:

Well, I think spam is really a basic thing.

Any kind of off-topic and posting the same thing over and over.

Would be easier if you just asked:

Is <something> spamming?

Because this seems what you aim for.

I don't really have anything very specific in mind. I really just wanted to discus it with people and see what posters believe spam is. I mean it is such a hard thing to define. As in: a hard and fast rule on it, right ?

I presume that spam is:

Unrelated advertisements. So, pretty much any ads that have nothing to do with league UNLESS it is directly related to the topic in question (so, for example I do believe you can advertise your stream about League, but you can't advertise your hair shampoo).
A thread or post that serves no purpose, bringing nothing new to the topic (For example if I posted a simple "I don't know" instead of a real post here).
Opening a thread about topic that is already flooding the boards - just create posts inside of the topic. The same goes for opening multiple threads with the same topic by yourself, or spamming the same post over and over.

I guess what i am really asking is what is Riots opinion on spam and what is the average posters opinion on it ( which may be more relevant)

I would like to use something in this thread for an example and I hope that no one gets offended. The picture of spam above. I thought that was funny. But if it got posted every time some one said some thing, then it might be considered spam. Or to go a step further would it then be harassment ?

I will just stop here :) My eyes are tired !
