Everyone is complaining about the Harrowing skins...

...but guys...they aren't even on live yet. We don't know if there is going to be some kind of event set up highlighting WHY they decided to go with a slayer skin line, we don't know if there is going to be anything else going on for the event at all yet. Just calm down, and stop complaining about the skins being put out. If you don't like the skin, don't buy it. It's that simple.

Hell, Riot goes out of their way each year to put on the Harrowing event, putting out new skins each time, occasionally throwing some bonus stuff in there as well. So please, stop whining about it all. Imagine, for example, if you were the designer of one of those skins and read through the boards today/yesterday. How shitty would you feel after seeing half a dozen posts ON THE FRONT PAGE saying "omg, these skins suck. Riot, I'm so disappointed. Ugh, zombies AGAIN??" Etc.

I'm just tired of people beating up on riot for shit like this when A) it's an ENTIRELY optional part of the game, B) it's an event that Riot in no way, shape, or form is REQUIRED to put out for us, and C) IS NOT EVEN ON THE LIVE SERVERS YET.

Just try to show some respect for the people putting all this work into the game for us, is that too much to ask?

Its too bad they are doing a zombie theme. Zombies in video games are just soooo boring, overused, milked and re-used its just bland and boring.

Perhaps they should stop "going out of their way" if the content is getting shittier and shittier every year.

And the community is entitled to share their displeasure, should they feel so. It's called Feedback.

I think rito released too much "so good skins" this year that everyone expected perfect skins for Halloween , we cant compare these zombies themed to projects or Arcades or even Star Guardian , but they are not finished yet , and maybe they will make a zombie rift that will fit the skins and make them better , a zombie rift with zombie skins is really not bad for harrowing , knowing we already have zombie ryze and brand .

The slayer skins looks like shit sorry, not only for harrowing, but for anything, they're ugly.

I just think they don't look very good. It's got nothing to do with the theme. They could have the most awesome "Slayers vs. Zombies" game mode or event and it wouldn't change that. Skins on PBE are often changed, but only little things like a few color changes; if you don't like its first iteration, you'll never like it.

But hey, I'm not downplaying the work they put into it. I don't have to like every skin and they don't expect me to, so I won't bitch I just won't buy the ones I don't like. I still look forward to the next skins made by the same people.

Fair point and I basically agree, but on the other hand, they wouldn't put up content this early if they didn't expect (and to at least some degree, want) feedback on it, including negative feedback. I agree that the less constructive "omg this suckz" responses aren't helping anyone, but Riot getting an idea of the community's reaction is important.
