Thats like saying only pro racers are allowed to comment on car designs.

What? Is that mechanic telling us that square tires are a f**king stupid idea? Sorry, but he isn't even good enough to compete in amateur races, so he must not know what he's talking about. However this other guy who competes in Nascar thought that square tires would be a new and innovative idea!

Say what you want, but Riot balances the game around high Elo anyway. If something is broken in low Elo the solution is almost always to just get better at the game. Once you're in master+ and approaching the limit of how good you can be character power starts meaning a lot more.
