How to get the community more into lore

Its pretty simple: put the history of a champion or a region or something into the load screen. Give us something to read while we wait. Maybe have it be related to the champions in the game even.

You could track what people have seen so they don't see one thing over and over too, wouldn't be too hard.

I think they need to fix up and develop their lore first before they can do that.

You know they do have that, right? It isn't ever much, but I frequently see little blurbs.

"Demacia prides itself on being the home of the just and righteous" "Noxus and Demacia are the two warring factions of Runeterra" "Yordles are from Bandle City (something else I forgot)"

That kind of stuff. Sure, it's no Journal of Justice ({{summoner:10}} plz Riot), but it's better than nothing.

I think that putting more lore snippets into the opening screen is perfectly reasonable.

For a more ambitious initiative, I'd like to mention Factions as a community-run demonstration of something that Riot could adopt to make the story feel more real and player-driven.

This would be nice; considering load screens can be excruciatingly long sometimes, it could be a cool thing to see some lore for those less versed in it. It would be much cooler to have more people hooked on the lore :D

That would be pretty cool... someone also suggested in GD that one should be able to expand a splash art during the load screen for closer examination... would be nice to have something going on during the loading time...
