This 5.19 lag?

Both me and my brother (along with EVERY person we play with) have been lagging extremely hard as of today ingame. I know there's no way in hell that this is just me considering I just said every person i play with, but what is up with the servers right now? The game is unplayable unless you want a free loss on your match history. A game I had earlier today 2 people on the enemy team disconnected mid-game because of the lag and another game me, my brother, and our adc were constantly having lag spikes all game. Please work on fixing the lag Riot!

Edit:This seems to be a problem with Verizon users and therefore is almost definitely not worlds-related.

Yeah, been getting pretty bad spikes as of this evening as well.

Just had a horrible game because of lag, couldn't move for a second after I cast or attacked. Apparently its Verizon related too?

It's something to do with worlds, maybe Riot is diverting server priority to the event so that the players involved, and those watching, have a better gaming experience ( this is simply a theory )

omg are you for real ? i have fios and ive had horrible lag through the past days since 5.19 but since server change its also been really annoying because my ping would spike but not this high. I really hope they fix this i dont have much of the season left to rank up. Thanks for making the post if it wasnt for that i wouldnt have known it was because of Verizon. item 3070
