how does win rate interact with mmr?

Ok so I'm fully aware that my mmr is influenced by the mmr of those that I play with and against. but how does winrate affect it? I was placed in bronze 4 this season and have climbed a full league so far with no sign of slowing down and yet my mmr always shows to be slightly below and sometimes two divisions below that of my rank and i have never earned more than 22 LP since i got placed, my average mmr gain across every elo is 19. Can someone please explain this to me and tell me if there's a way to fix it?

MMR It's an arbitrary unfair system. Just because both teams have the same MMR doesn't mean the teams are fair. Here is an example from my plat promos:

Team A = 100 Top = 20 Mid = 15 (gold 3) Jun = 20 Bot = 20 Sup = 25

Team B = 100 Top = 20 Mid = 25 (plat 2) Jun = 20 Bot = 20 Sup = 15

As you can see, both teams have the same total MMR but B team has the advantage. Their plat 2 Katarina destroyed our gold 3 Orianna and then our nexus. I strongly believe Riot needs to do away with MMR and just match people +/- 1 of their division.
