what if you made poppy the protagonist? cause she roams anyway so you could make the animated series the canonical lore and just have poppy show up everywhere looking for the hero of valoran to serve as the lense that the audience sees runeterra through. best part is that you wouldn't even have to rewrite a lot of the lore cause poppy is in there somewhere anyway.
