How to carry with Mejais Annie + Ahri mid. (Tips + Stream)

Hello, I am getting my rank up in anticipation for the next season for easy seeding. I used to be a mid Diamond top main, however I have decided to move on over to mid, as it is much easier to influence the game. I am currently in the high Gold/low Plat range.

Quick FAQ:

• Why do I almost always build Mejais? -While building Mejais is typically considered a noobtrap, I personally think the latest buff they gave to it made it essential to climbing. Your play style has to be focused on minimum deaths if you build this item.

• Why do I not go DFG on Annie? -Annie's damage is too high to utilize the DFG. For that same price I could have a Deathcap and contribute far more consistent AOE damage.

• Why did I switch to mid? -Dragon's are much stronger now, if you shut down the other mid it basically guarantees all of the shiny new buffs.

• Why do I use Magic Pen runes over AP? -It is significantly stronger over AP runes if you can get some quick additional stacks on your Mejais.

Some Annie Tips:

• Don't try too hard to harass pre 6 unless your opponent is out of position, focus on farming.

• Don't worry about being pushed to tower as Annie, you can farm just fine on tower with your Q resets.

• Be aware of where your jungle is, and what his intentions are. You need to be able to have your stun up if he is ganking.

• Your first back should be at around level 6, you will have enough gold for just a Mejais. Once you get to lane hit your opponent with a couple Q's then flash all in with Tibbers.

• If you are being ganked by the jungler, it is usually better to just all in on him instead of trying to get away. If you got your kill after the Mejais you will be able to 100-0 any jungler with Tibbers

Some Ahri Tips:

• Never have a full out engagement with your opponent if you missed your Charm, you will lose almost every trade.

• Play passive (and on your side) in lane, wait for a gank to go in for a kill.

• Keep wards in their jungle (Wraiths and Inner Banana bush), Ahri is very strong in helping her jungler assassinate the enemy jungle due to her amazing mobility.
