When swiping after a pounce, there is a high chance that the swipe will perform in the opposite direction.

This is happeneing with a lot of champions and it seems to revolve around dashes and their E ability. Nidalee after a pounce swipes backwards, Kassadin after a Rift Walk will do Force Pulse backwards too. There are videos of both in the mega-bug thread and frankly I think this needs a hotfix. You can't expect players of numerous champions to be stuck with backwards casting abilities for two weeks. Can we get some sort of official announcement beyond this?

She swipes in the direction of your cursor and has for quite a while now since the rework, just as she pounces towards the cursor. Before the rework she'd always pounce forward and swipe ahead regardless of mouse cursor.

Uh, I'm talking about on Live. It has nothing to do with her pouncing, and only to do with her moving. Try it yourself.

Nah. I've seen videos of it and experienced the same thing on Kassadin. Any dash move followed quickly by another skillshot has it fly backwards. It has to be done less than a second after the dash move though and is most obvious on Kassadin when you do Rift Walk then Force Pulse combo. It may be slightly different on Nidalee but the video makes it look the same. I'm not doubting what you say I'm just saying that I and others have experienced differently since 4.18 went out. I imagine a lot of us also thought "am I a noob again?" or worse when it kept happening.

The thread is on Nidalee, the post is on Nidalee, I was talking about Nidalee, and the video is of Nidalee, and you're saying "It may be slightly different on Nidalee but the video makes it look the same. I'm not doubting what you say" Why are you even posting? Right now on Live Nidalee swipes in the opposite direction 100% of the time if you're moving. There's no way to control it by not dashing or whathaveyou. Only coming to a complete stop by mashing S can let you make a correct swipe.

This is the equivalent of the move being more or less disabled, and reduces her overall damage by 245+.45AP, which is substantial, especially since she relies on her entire combo to increase Takedown's damage. That's like downgrading a Syndra to an AP Aatrox in terms of overall damage.

Where is this god complex coming from that you think any response to you (in agreement or clarification, since I certainly wasn't disagreeing with you, simply adding more information to more accurate analyze the Nidalee bug) is an assault on your character?

Calm down. What he's saying, actually, that it's a much wider problem than Nidalee.

I've noticed the same exact thing as Vi (which completely ruins her laning btw), except not based on any dash, but in general failing like 75% of the time.

Hi LoveStrut,

Today is the second day of the bug and as a Nidalee only player I would greatly appreciate it if this bug could be fixed as soon as possible. Second day I can't really play league of legends. Why isn't this hotfixed or atleast rank disabled yet?

Maybe its because you clicked nearby, so nidalee turned with her pounce to face that original position you clicked. Just my thoughts.

Just noticed the same, but it also comes up when you move in some direction and then use swipe while moving. Then it also goes to wrong way. And this happened in EUW.

Confirmed. Nidalee swipes in the direction opposite her current movement, regardless of pouncing or cursor direction. This is a new bug to 4.18. Nidalee swipes the correct direction if not moving. @Riot plz fix asap

Confirmed, it is whenever you are clicking to move in one direction. If you swipe during this click, you will swipe in the opposite direction.

Confirmed, Nidalee swipes in the opposite direction she is traveling. Happens while moving or right after pounce.

This also happens with Annie, after using a flash and then using her W, and Kassadin after using his ult and then his E. Many champs have this problem since the release of 4.18.

My only problem is Why are kass and nid disabled? With the bug active I scored 23/8/11 as nid, I'm sure it was a bad team but why are they disabled? and why aren't all of the other champs with cones disabled? Or is it only after flashing that there bugs show?

just logged in and i got really excited. the <!> icon was gone! telling me that nidalee (and kassidin) have been fixed. logged in and tried to find her in champ select, and... where did she go? will we ever see Nid and Kass again (Don't answer that)? and if other wise... do one of two things... disable all of the other bugged up champs (or flash)... or give Nid and Kass back...
