why do people believe they should be free from any negativity in LOL?

we learn behavior threw others reaction to us if we do something acceptable people react positively if we do something not acceptable people react negitivitly. im not saying flaming is good but if you dive a turret 1v3 and your teammates is like wtf why did you do that? and you reply with "reported for toxic" really pls grow up a bit look at the situation say something like my bad shouldn't have dived a tower 1v3 to many people in this game get butt hurt at even slight negativity once again im not saying flaming im saying anything that is not praising them

I'm not calling you worthless because I particularly don't like you, I'm calling you worthless because you're 0/7 and are completely incapable of having a positive impact for our team in this game. A Nasus that is 0/7 with 130 stacks at 30 minutes and dies instantly every fight is worthless, I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you. You don't want me to say mean things about you? Then don't play like you're trolling. I can handle some feeding, but when you've died to your enemy laner 7 times by 15 minutes without being ganked, I'm probably going to say something, especially if you dare to try and blame somebody else.

No one expects rainbows and unicorn farts. But there's a difference between being a jerk and being critical.

A person who is being critical will seek to ensure that any negative comment they make is as constructive as they can make it, because criticism is premised on helping another improve.

A person who is being a jerk will allow any negative comment they make to be as negative as they can, because their goal is to feel superior.

This is the difference between pulling another up and pushing them down.

well in game you dont really have time for more then a wtf was that it would be more helpful to break ti down more then that to what went wrong but you dont have the time because if you get caught typing them it will be the other guys turn to ask wtf was that

"What happened?" is fewer words. It's also fewer characters than the comment you indicated in your original post. And it doesn't bear the same negative attitude.

"Try not to engage alone" is short, simple, and offers actual advice.

Or - if you're not a skilled typist that can manage short messages such as those - you could always try just... not saying anything?

Amen to that. They also got to "have fun" and not know who won the game because the dumbass parents never kept score so they never learned how to win or lose. They have basically been conditioned to fail and it shows in real life as well as anything most of them participate in.

There is always a better way to tell someone they messed up. To be honest, "wtf why did you do that?" is neither constructive, nor is it pleasant to read. I know I made a mistake when I died diving 1v3, so I don't need some random person giving me hell for it.

and really if you expect everyone to be nice to you when you mess up THEIR GAME its not just your game so when you mess up you mess up 4 other people you should expect someone wtf to come out if you cant handle that your in for a rough life and should probably go live as a hermit

I didn't call you a jerk, nor did I call any one else a jerk.

I used the word jerk as a descriptor for a behavior.

I have to read your posts nearly five times to understand what you're saying.

I will say this though, the aforementioned "Wtf" statement will do nothing more than agitate your teammate. If you want them to do well and not 'ruin your game', then constructive criticism in a positive manner will go further. If you tell someone, "You suck because you tower dove that, you should know not to do that." or something similar to "Your cs'ing is awful." then don't expect them to want to try harder to win the game.

what im saying is dont play this game if your a brat that gets butt hurt easily but i decided to try and sound slightly more professional then that sorry if your reading skill suck and before you try and say there better then mine..most likely not :P

You're right, again. They're probably not as good as yours. There is probably a thread that is more suited to my level.
