Last chance to play as Taric

This week is your final chance to play as Taric in his original form if you do not own him. Taric being available on free week is a rare occurrence and with the rework imminent and fast approaching I can bet you a million gems that the rework will reach him sometime next week or the week afterwards. I am 90% sure that the rework will be an improvement over his current form but just in case Riot screws this one up royally (as they did with Mordekaiser and Shen) you can look back with wanting nostalgia at what once was the pure embodiment of fabulousness with a bitter-sweet smile across your face.

And if you really want to show your love and support of your favorite gem knight there are dozens and dozens of unclaimed Taric-specific summoner names still out there. That way when you hit the rift with your favorite Ezreal, everyone will know that your gratuitous levels of fabulous are not a gimmick and that you are a professional gay.

I cried laughing.

I probably should try Taric just to complain about how much they jack him up. Or to add a new support to my roster if they get it right. Shen though.... Fucking shen... It just made no sense to me.

I'm gonna miss old Taric when they rework him. Although Nami is my go-to support, Taric's my second choice and my primary pick for if the team needs a tanky support. I've done so much fun shit with him, from helping out a lot with damage once I get Iceborn, to interrupting dashy champions with E, to finishing off barely alive enemies by using W. One of my favorite memories was yolo-rushing into dragon as the enemy jungler was taking it as none of my other teammates wanted to go help with it as we were losing at that point. I got there and AAed the dragon once and stole it from him. Got out too because of Taric's E, and we eventually managed to turn it around and win.

For those of you who have never played the outrageous one before, I also recommend it. He's really great fun to play despite his low pick rate, and he can end up helping a lot if the game ends up running long. Enjoy it while you can, because I sure as heck will!
