I have 3 wards up almost constantly, unless I run out of sightstone wards. I am so sick and tired of asking my team to place more wards only to have them tell me it's MY job. IT'S EVERYONE'S JOB. This is NOT season 3 anymore where the support could just BUY a stack of 5 wards and litter the map. (and even THEN everyone SHOULD have been warding) EVERYONE gets a free ward. You can UPGRADE it for JUST 250g, and its basically like a NEVERENDING SIGHTSTONE.

I swear, I want to punch anyone who tells me that cause I'm the support it's MY job. No. F you. Everyone is supposed to do it, supports are just the only role to do it consistently. And maybe jungler.

And I especially hate it when it's the ADC who says it. BOY, you didn't even swap to blue trinket, you better at least be laying that FREE WARD down. I babied your butt all lane, and THAT'S what you have to say to me? Seriously. These people.

I mean, it was somewhat understandable back when I could completely ward every bush in the enemy jungle forever, but with the not so new ward limit shouldn't it be common sense that multiple people have to ward?

I feel lucky to have not been told this in quite a long time, but something equally frustrating is when your team refuses to upgrade their trinket. Even if they're full build and you point out that someone getting caught out due to lack of vision will cause a loss, they still refuse or ignore your request.

Had a teammate repeatedly say the single word "wards" implying I needed to put down more.. This player never bothered to upgrade trinket till told to. People stuck in season 3, forgetting a single player puts down 4 wards at most.

As a solo top main when I hit level 9, upgrading my trinket is the best 250 gold that I'll ever spend all game. item 3361

As a support main, I can say that It IS primarily your job. Others should be doing it as well, but you should always have the most down, and be rotating yours the most. And accept whatever the team says and roll with it. They want wards moved to a new area? You do it.

When I play certain junglers, mid or top I just buy item 3361 . It's cheap, and can keep 3 wards up constantly like a sightstone that doesn't need to go back to base to recharge

the funniest thing that has happened to me recently is that I as that adc helped ward the lane and the support the thresh stop in the middle of a trade to say thank you. and with that thresh in late game as kog we melted the enemy team

I mean, I know I could be warding more than I do, but generally I at least upgrade my yellow trinket and try to keep it placed decently, and keep a pink out. If I die because I didn't see a gank coming, it's my own damn fault.

I remember one game where I was the ADC and I went and placed all the wards that the support wasn't. That support told me that "warding was his job," to which I replied that it was in the best interests of the team that we ALL place wards. We ended up winning that game.

I've only heard that once recently when our top that was getting ganked was told to ward and he was dumb enough to say "That's not my job" - he was impugning that it's the junglers job to ward for him and protect his lane. Needless to say he ended up leaving the game when no one came to his defense while he flamed out jungler... we still won, but it was rough.

My favorite is "gg out support has no wards down or vision control." I then ping my three wards at drag bar and the enemy blue our jg and i just stole as well as 3 wards killed with sweep.

My ultra favorite is in the first 5 mins of lane my adc gets hit by every possible skill shot then "are you new to X champion/support" my response is the mute button

if you want to actually have vision, everyone has to ward. especially with the trinket and vision system as it is, EVERYONE (including the ADC) has to ward.. luckily i think my mmr has improved enough that this isnt really an issue...i see everyone throw a ward or 2.

This thing item 3361 is arguably the better version of sightstone. It only costs 250 gold, which you'll likely have left over after buying an item.

I don't understand why someone needs to be designated the "Warder" when anyone and everyone can (and should) place down just as many wards with ease.

I feel like people who play support know how important vision is moreso than any of the other roles. I may play mid as much as I do support, but when I can, I ward, and I upgrade the basic ward. I end up almost always warding the most out of anyone, sometimes even the support (always if I AM the support). I take vision very seriously.

As someone who does a bit of everything but who's true calling is support, I completely agree with you. It just gets on my nerves every time I hear that. Sure I'm the support so I have to do it consistently but I'm not the only one who has a ward with me at the beginning of the game.

Adc main here. I'm tired of always having to ward the river bush when we're pushed. I'm not even the support in most of my games and I'm the one remembering to keep an eye out for ganks. So yea, it goes both ways.

When I'm support, I can ward the river and a side bush and things are peachy. As an adc, I gotta constantly poke the bushes cause who knows?

People need to get the concept that Not Dying > Getting Kills. because everyone feels the undying need to kill everything in sight, they just refuse to buy anything that isn't part of their build when in reality, getting killed because of an avoidable gank will rob you of more gold per second you are not farming than it would if you bought a full set of wards and kept up a perimeter around your lane.
