If you're going through ranked as a Solo player, play solo lanes. If you can play mid and top and win your lanes, you'll have a pretty good chance of carrying the game (so long as you play a carry champion). That's why I play Teemo. As a solo player, he can win his lane, control his map mid to late, and deal a TON of damage.

Jungle is high impact, but also high risk. If your top, mid, and bot lane all perform poorly (which does happen a lot more often than I'd like), then there's not really much you can do as the jungler. That's just my opinion on it. Some people can snowball hella fast as junglers, and those people can also climb pretty fast. I'm not the strongest jungler, but I have been playing solo lanes since Season 3-4.

Why FQC ? Seems strange on a non support AP champion. I'm really curious about this. If your reason is what I think it is, I might start doing this in my own games.

On average, I'll get between 2,000 to 2,400 bonus gold by 40 minutes, since shrooms will proc all 3 stacks (+45 bonus damage & gold). It also gives pretty decent mana regeneration, has decent AP stats, and the FQC active once you pop out of invisibility is 8/8 gr8 b8 m8

On full AP Top Teemo, we don't run boots. Why, you ask? Well, you don't need to kite when your shrooms and single shot Q are your damage heheheh

Literally my build, cept replace Morrellos with Nashors for them kites, i usually sell boots for it actually.

I run a Teemo main account, although I am only Silver 2 at the moment (was almost silver 1 the other day).

I usually go an AD type build such as .

item 3022 item 3006 item 3146 item 3087 and then either MR or Armor items depending.

might have to try out this AP style though

Thing is, on-hit Teemo doesn't scare people that much. AP shroom nuke Teemo on the other hand will have the enemy wondering if their next step will be their last.

I think that's true for the most part. Find a champion you can really connect to and play it to "perfection". Then start focusing on improving yourself in other aspects of the game, such as map/objective control, seiging, roaming, etc.
