xCillion, one of the most passionate people in the League of Legends Community that I've ever met, has recently passed away, and it's a tremendous loss to me and the several thousands of people he's worked with during his time on the Boards. I'm honestly at a loss for words. I heard about this about two hours ago and still haven't completely accepted it yet. The original thread is posted over on the EU Boards; however, if you're unable to post there, you can pass along your messages here.

I never really visited the EU boards but I think we should all aspire to leave such a great impression on those around us as xCillion did. Rest in peace

.. Bad news after bad news. First my website got hit with layoffs and now a really good member of the Escapist Community passes away. What a terrible day this has been. His family & friends have my sympathy and I pray he had a life with no regrets. News like this makes me weep inside :'(

This is why we must cherish each and every moment with every player that we encounter because you never know, the next moment, they might not be alive.

Never got to speak with xCillion, but I'm positive his words must have been a blessing. I pray for his family and the rest of the League Community.

I can't actually believe this. Before I left EUW boards (banned actually), we had frequent argument and bants. Never expected this and certainly didn't wish for this. Rest in Peace xCillion.

P.S: To all you kids wishing death on people, as you can see it's not a joke it's a finality.

Oh god. I didn't know him personally, but I've seen his name so many times on the Euw boards, always kind and ready to explain... This is so weird, everyone on the nerd part of the Internet feels young and lively, and then reality hits and it's so unexpected...

I went over to the EUW link. I've never met or heard about xCillion. The top comment there nearly brang me to tears. All this is making me so sad and I don't even know who he is. Clearly he was a great guy with so many people caring about him, I really hope you all the best and he's not gone.
