Make future new/reworked champions as chore-ish as Yorick
Cz it's sad to see that about 4 years of his rework process, Yorick only manages to grab a playrate of 2.61%, and about 0.7% in Diamond elo. Everyone in League are just a bunch of typical people who only want three things in new/reworked champions:
- tons of damage in every ability.
- big-ass dashes.
- No resource.
Big reasons why Lee SIn & Yasuo are still widely played, plus Camille being the one new champion who's still heavily played due to these reasons even after her release about a week ago or two, and the small return of Kalista after her buffs. I mean back when reworked Yorick was releasedm you don't see him being as popular as current Camille.
You have to admit that no one here wants to play a champion whose power spike is "restricted", like forcing Yorick to gain 3 or 4 graves before he engages with full potential. Another sad champion who was also in the long rework process was Sion, where he can only be such a beneficial factor if he were to land a fully charge Q or a full-team ult charge.
So what's my proposal for this? Everyone in League already have their fun with the following champions like Lee Sin, Yasuo, Camille & etc, make future new/reworked champions be as chore-ish & restrictive as Yorick. They need to learn their way around by spreading their champion diversity instead of having to play someone who will either brag about a QRQ combo or spamming HASAGI as if it's such a hard thing to do.
