Is he a good top laner? or even is he a good jungle pick at the moment?
I recently got him from re-rolling 3 champ shards, and luck had it i got him on Aram after that, and did EXTREMELY well since i could just dive for days and literally fart at the turret.
I haven't seen any Voli's lately so is he a good pick right now? Kinda wanna play him more, but don't want to get crapped on if hes not a strong pick atm.
your elo is probably like most others, fairly low, voli is a good champion top/jung and even can work as a support.
his roar fear minions and monsters so he doesnt have to tank all that damage for instance.
he has quite a few builds, full hp tank for the bite and also attackspeed off tank builds.
scariest build ive seen was an attackspeed/damage build lol.
Thats the build i went for, i went for full armor/magic pen/health and wits end for attack speed, i couldn't die, and could get triples without even trying xD
But that is just Aram, so i wanted to make sure he is capable of good jg sustain and good top lane pushing. I tend to prefer jungles that have good sustain and good clear without having to go back.
He isn't as dominating as he previously was, but he is still rather strong.
He tends to excel in ganking and skirmishing, but he is rather vulnerable to kiting during teamfights. However, his ultimate provides a lot of AOE damage during teamfights (since you can hit everyone by attacking the front-line) and his W provides a powerful execute.

Unless you're high diamond+ I'm 90% sure you can just play whatever the hell you want. As long as you know the basic fundamentals of the game, it'll just be you learning the champion which you can do within ~50 games or so.
