The "please don't end" attitude when winning games should be reportable

AH TUT TUT, to those who are either punished or those who thinks the report system is ridiculous for banning toxicity, please leave this thread.

Now, as I was saying, I'm sure everyone one of you guys out there have always experienced the times when your team is:

  • winning hard.
  • getting objectives in time.
  • highly skilled in outplaying enemies (yea, being Yasuo or Lee, w/e)

The kill score board is now, for example, 24 v 5, you managed to destroy an inhibitor or 2, your team has 90% chances of being able to rush down the team base for the win, but NOPE.

Your teammate goes: "Please don't end the game yet. This is so fun!"

And before you know it, your team gets mighty cocky trying to 1v5 the enemy team one by one, dies steadily, enemies managed to pick up the pace, & ended your Nexus with a sour Defeat.

So my point comes to this. Please make the "don't end the game yet" attitude to be reportable & thus punishable for it. This shows nothing but unnecessary taunting to the enemies for being pathetically weak, and I'm sure the enemy team doesn't like this sort of attitude as well (mostly in Normals, but in Ranks it's mostly regarded as a jail-free card). I swear that in about 70% of my winning games, I'm usually the only one hitting the enemy Nexus for the win, while the others just jerks off at the enemy fountain...

I find people who jerk off before fountain to be more annoying and toxic than people who say 'gg ez'

Agreed. I also find it highly unsportsmanlike and rude to the players of the other team.

"please make anything that is against my opinion reportable" "Please make it reportable if after an ace my team dont listen to me to get baron"

Geez, if you lost a game because you didnt close it in time, it's YOUR fault, BUT! Why should anyone be reported and punished for it? Do you report people who feed hard in lane because they're outmatched? No...

So stop trying to make everything you dont agree with a bannable offense.

If It's a player on your own team, just ignore them and push the nexus. I hate when its on the other team. If it's 10 min in and theyre 20-1, have taken an inhib already, and decide to camp your nexus until 20 min, that's just rude. Especially when they have a diamond smurf carrying 80% of the kills, allowing the rest of the team to focus on being dicks. If that team doesn't end and loses after falling off, they 100% deserve it. Not ending is just unsportsmanlike, and it only takes 1 person to push the last waves and end.

yeah, make absolutely everything reportable, because that definitely makes for the greatest community! fucking idiots.

report this, report that.

support took a cs, "HE IS DENYING ME, REPROT".

that shitty reporting attitude has gotten way out of hand. cant even fart while playing league in fear of getting reported.

Bunch of whiny, thin skinned white-knight douchewaffles who cant even take a honest "STFU and play the game" without crying "verbal abuse" and "toxic".

grow some balls!

At the same time when it comes to stomps, surrendering is an option. I totally get the "never give up" mentality, but i believe theres a limit

Shadòw10/17/2016, 3:11:28 PM4 votes

yo momma should be reportable

Jet Sett10/17/2016, 10:52:10 PM4 votes

I only ask them not to end when I'm trying to be in the family photo end game.

Evewynn10/17/2016, 4:32:55 PM3 votes

I dunno if I would say it's punishable, but if it's on my team I definitely ignore them.

Please do this, Riot! It is extremely frustrating when you're about to win and someone/some people on your team decides to keep the game going because they got cocky. A few things can and will (and have) happen:

  1. Your team winds up throwing the game and losing
  2. It shows unsportsman-like conduct (which I believe is already a punishable offense) because you're basically mocking the enemy team's skills. i.e. "We're so much better than you that we don't even have to destroy your nexus right away. Instead, we'll just dance and laugh around it at your base."
  3. It's counter-productive to players who are actually trying to win the game and playing appropriately.

Uh, no?

Absolutely not. Unless the intention is to let the enemy team win, then I can't see the reason why it should be reportable. People having fun is a GOOD thing. I would not dick around in a ranked game, but in normals? For what reason other than to have fun would you play them? A winning team should rightfully be able to have fun. The losing team should really back up and consider why they lost hard enough that the enemy team feels they can freely do such a thing. And sure, maybe they had a troll or an AFK, but that happens to everybody and simply deciding every little thing needs to be banned is not a good solution.

Some people like to play League to have fun, and since taunting does not actually do anything harmful, I do not see why it shouldn't be allowed.

i consider it "unsportsmanlike" and it is reportable, added with a note down below on why. Honestly, everyone should be considerate and just end the game as soon as possible with a "WP" (not everyone likes the GG on the losing side)
