I am to the point, where I almost hope URF DOES NOT come back. I am so horribly sick of of these people spamming the forums with "bring urf back" despite the innumerable number of such threads. Riot, seriously. Can you like remove the "thread creation" privileges of these people for a while or something?

Gavran1 votesIf people want to play URF in custom games more than they want to try Ascension, I think that's fine. Fragmenting the playerbase into queues is bad, into custom games? Not so much I think. I can think of at least four custom game "gametypes" that already exist.
99% of people would burn out on URF, and the tiny remainder that didn't can keep playing the mode they enjoy most, who is hurt by this?
The one that has a queue at any given time is the featured game mode after all.

Gavran1 votesBecause that 1% (probably less than that, but exact numbers aren't important here) would be happy to be able to play custom games together. And with a business as big as Riot's, that 1% is actually still a lot of people that it's a good idea to keep happy.
The pestering is annoying, but, it's hardly alone in that.

Regardless of how many people it is, i guarantee 99% 99 times more people than 1%.

And honestly you're underestimating the success custom games can have if you think you can only have fun with a queue. ARAM was a custom game mode long before it was a queue.

I am not looking for them. People just wont stop asking riot again and again and again to bring back something they already said they were going to bring back. Thats like people spamming the threads with requests for a sion rework after the teaser debut.

As stated already, If URF was available to play in customs, then the same people who are now begging Riot to release it again would have been done with it by the time Ascension came out. They probably would have been done with it by the time One for All: Mirror Mode came out. So, there would have been plenty of people who would have been playing those game modes by the time they came out.
And, even if the hype for URF somehow managed to continue to this day, and people would still be playing the mode if it was available in customs, don't forget that the amount of people demanding for URF is just a vocal minority. There would still be more than enough people to play other game modes when they came out.

A) its played just as much, and may as well be a special game type. B) it dies out, and we never see it return.
Neither one is as good an option as being patient for it to come back, especially when its guaranteed to return anyway.

Less complaining. People would finally get what they want but only in a custom game mode, while still wanting to play the other matchmaking game types.

The truth is, if URF is on, game types like ascenion, hexakill, and doom bots would be played hardly at all because everyone would be playing urf. I'm not asking for people to stop liking it, just be patient and stop making endless threads about it.
