Ranked 1v1's?
I started playing as they removed the 1v1 game mode. Any reason it was removed? I'd like a short game mode that would help me improve my laning.

On a serious note, Ranked 1v1 wouldnt work since the game is supposed to be a team based game. Characters are balanced based on how they function as a team and a role. So, some characters are great at killing other champs 1v1 (aka freelo cancer Zed) while some require coordinated moves to some extent such as Galio, Kalista, etc.
Thats probably why Riot is hesitant on bringing back solo queue.
