Any other Silver Players feel that SIlver is worse then Bronze?

AS the title says, any other players in Silver feel that Silver is far worse and more toxic then being in Bronze?

I know i spent the last 3 seasons in bronze 1 (not going to get into why i feel i was in bronze one in this chat) But this Season i decide to buckle down and i easily made it to Silver 4 with no issues.

But that seems to be where the issue started once i made it to silver 4 and 5 is seemed like the Quality of Players just took a nose dive and the amount of trolls and Toxicity took a all time rise. I know personally at one point i felt that i would rather be back in Bronze one or because the players and games Quality was at a far higher standards then the current players and quality of games i was getting in silver.

So i'm curious, Do any other Silver players feel this way as well or is it just me?

im in bronze and have played vs silvers, and yes they are worse based on what i have seen

Having played ~200 games in Bronze and then 100 in Silver, I found Bronze to have more honestly bad players than Silver. Low silver just had more trolls and mid silver had more ragers. I'm Gold 5 now, but I was Gold 1 before and there seems to be a huge difference between ____ - 1 and _____ - 5, with the lower division (Silver 1 to Gold 5) having better, more respectful players.

Tbh I think the quality of players just dropped in general. I wasn't there when the game was supposedly free (for the most part) of toxicity, but I hear my friends talking about the "good ol' days" all the time.

I doubt the players are worse...maybe you are just better and haven't realized it?

Yes, they're much worse. Silver V particularly. They seem to think "I made it out of bronze, therefore I'm gosu and everyone else is bronze trash". Much bigger egos cause lots of raging. When you get higher in silver, you see more people who realize that silver is hardly anything, and they're just trying to get to gold. And then you get to Gold V, same thing starts over. They think "I'm Gold now, everyone else is trash, and Silver is full of baddies". The same thing continues all the way up the ladder. Division V of any bracket will always be hell.

new players to ranked have silver elo. Flawed system creates that dynamic.
