Why do I have to prove that I'm better than Diamond 5's and Plat 2's just to prove that I belong in plat 5?
And yes I'm salty cause I had 3 zileans in a row on my team in my promos and they all went atleast 0/10. Please disable him from ranked. ty.

For the matchmaker itself, the conditions often cited for mismatch are low concurrent users (CCU) or having a very high MMR. But when we take a deeper look at this pool of games, the impact on the quality of matches ends up being very, very low. Instead, the matchmaker is much more likely to increase the queue time as can be seen in the longer queue times seen in the Challenger Tier.
That is not to say that our matchmaker is absolutely perfect. We are also constantly monitoring our matchmaker and making any necessary tweaks to help reduce the chance that players of vastly different skill levels are matched together.

If they're a shit D5, they're still D5. Why do I have to prove that I'm better than a player in Diamond 5, who got himself into the rank just to get plat 5? It just proves im better than the player in that rank if i beat him.

The problem is why do I have to prove that im better than people who are higher than the rank i'm being promoted to? I know about the MMR and shit. I'm not a dumbass. It's just stupid how you have to vs people who are much higher than the rank you're going to. If the people above the my rank are really crappy, and I'm matched against them, that means I at least belong in their rank if I'm winning against them since they got there for a reason...

because rank doesnt matter thats why. matchmaking doesnt take into consideration anything except both people's mmr stop being mad at riot get mad at the people who have your mmr
