You can't even ask a question anymore that goes against what the boards are saying without getting flamed and downvoted for it.

You can't ask "Why is X Champion so hated since this new patch? They didn't even change X Champion." You can't ask why one build is better than another without getting a "Because it just is" answer from a majority of the boards.

This kind of mentality is the stupidest thing. You flame ignorance for it's own ignorance but when someone wants to be enlightened, you refuse to help.

What the hell guys?

Well most of the board community is made of 6 year old kids, but it's really nice when you meet the normal people that use their brain. (Now waiting for them downvotes)

Some champions are sleeper op (look at MYMU malzahar). He was always broken but it was not until the pros picked him up. Another case, well for Hearim is indirect buffs. Trinity made him much better, and the new ghost just amplified his chase and damage potential like crazy. Direct and indirect buffs.
Well, majority of people follow the pros builds which are considered the best META builds. You didnt always build Rylais on viktor even straight after the changes. It was seen as a better item more and more because of the synergy with his kit + the raw item stats got a boost.

TLDR; there is alot of factors deciding when some champions are op. Whether they are deserved or not. Zed is still considered one of the most op and obnoxious champions by the community even though he is at 0% playrate in LCS and still only ~47% wr in solo queue.
