Riot please enforce pick order!

So we have all had it happen, You get someone who is new to draft. Next thing you know it begins, "No i called top, mid etc. etc." Or its the classic "We had same pick" and now your team is short an adc or a mid or a top or whatever the role may be. Well i just saw this at its absolute best. I was forced to dodge a game because i locked in jungle as second pick. (Perfectly okay.) Then the guy picking below me yells "No im jg" and locks in jax the guy after him locks in kha zix. Literaly nothing to be done but dodge, but i tried to explain pick order first and got told and i quote "Who made that stupid rule up?" It isnt enforced anywhere and it just leads to horrid games it isnt written down or anything. Its entirely player enforced and there is no option to report for breaking pick order.

RIOT please please do something about this. It needs to be clearly understood for players new to draft how pick order works. Maybe an on screen tutorial video or something like that for someone new to draft have it pop up the first time you try to que for draft pick.

tbh everyone should just state their top roles, you get any role if no one can main it(which kind of sucks for anyone who sup mains), then pick order. Top 1-2 picks should be power pick ups/fotm, then adc/mid, then sup/top, jung last as those roles are most likely to help fill out a team comp and/or get a large advantage for counter picking.

also if anyone in lobby stage uses any rage/toxic terms a few champs should be barred from being picked by them :P like riven, tahm kench, etc

honestly some times you have to just give the most douchebag player what they want, chances are they are going to feed/troll in any other role.

On one hand, I see what you're saying, but on the other hand, you should listen to all of your teammates. Riot enforcing this would be enforcing the mindset of "I'm the only one who matters here". Most of the time, I can ask for my main position and get it, just because people listen to their teammates 95% of the time. If you aren't communicating with your team on what positions everyone is, then you shouldn't be fine with "Well I'm first pick so it's fine".

Pick order is a completely player based rule of thumb. It's not exactly a 100% must. (as dumb as it sounds)

You might want to check out Team Builder. Normal and Ranked queues are supposed to be where the teams actually work together, so it's not really up to Riot to keep people who are unwilling to work with their team in line.

Enforcing pick order is enforcing meta.

Breaking meta is not a bannable/reportable offense.

I understand where your coming from with this, but there really isn't much they can do to enforce this.

I know how annoying it can be to deal with people that do that kind of thing, it's how me and a friend ended up playing kat and amumu bot. We hit 6 when there jungler came in for a gank and got a triple kill and then snowballed so hard they couldn't stop us.

Just look at those times as chances to test out stupid ideas you couldn't get away with in normal games and have fun with it.
