Why the lore backlash? I for one think this is a great direction
I cant understand the backlash people are having.
Do you not realise the current format does not allow for good story telling? That some champion cannot have more than a paragraph of "Story" because of the intitude? Examples:
because they are confined inside the league? Its like trundle's old lore, it leads nowhere, its a dead end.
By removing the league, its now possibly to make lore that isnt limited/restricted around it (the Institude), and thus, much much deeper and complex.
Some character's cant even have a social life because of the intitude (
, what sense is there in
joining the league when she wants to blow up piltover (which she wont have time to due to matches), How are
meant to fight each other when they have to do matches all the time? These are just a few examples.
So, i ask you: You would all rather have crude crappy underdeveloped lore that leads nowhere than potentially awesome deep meanigfull one just because there arent any all powerfull summoners and an all powerfull organisation which centers all around it?
