Psychological Survey for "poorly named" players

I've been seeing some of those people wondering why their name was changed without any prompting, and one person mentioned they got this survey. Didn't know what to think about that because they didn't provide any details, but I just saw an article about it which showed the survey in question (which is shown below). Link to the article itself here.

I find it pretty amusing that they get a psychological survey. The article (if you don't want to read it) says they will have to play 50 matches and take another survey before being able to change their name (presumably to something more tasteful).

I think it's a fascinating study. Then again, I find a lot of such studies fascinating. I doubt they will, but I sorta hope they post something about the findings later on...

Gonna be honest. I think it's just downright disgusting.

A name change? Alrighty. Cool whatever.

But this is just insulting.

Riot has over stepped their bounds with this. I sincerely may stop playing because this is disgusting. Why would i actively support a company that treats the players like mental patients? It's bad enough they changed names that were not sexual, race-related, or taboo in anyway, but to add this on top of it? It's insulting.
