So do the people who tell complainers to shut up remember there is a mute button?

I love how people who try to tell people who are complaining to shut up seem to forget that the mute button exists. Like, its not all the time, but it happens enough that i'm convicned that they either don't know its there don't know how to use it, and if they do know it's there, just ignore it and try to shut the other person down.

And if you're the last one, then you really are kinda stupid because you are basically keeping all the doors and windows open when its mosquito season, then complaining when the mosquitoes come in. Then when someone says why not close the doors and windows, you ignore them and continue fighting with the mosquitoes. It jut makes no sense, like at that point, you seem even more stupid than the person who is raging.

I dunno, am i alone on this? Am I the only one who sees it this way?
