Now that I've been in plat for awhile...

I really want to know how other people get there when one little thing sets them off.

Examples: Support took 1 cs. ADC- "The apocalypse is coming. My support took a cs" Meanwhile its the 10 minute mark and they have 50 out of 114, and it is the supports fault because he took 1 minion.

Jungler when mid invades once. "GG mid came and you didn't, this game is fing over, play mid and then you suck" Meanwhile enemy jungler has ganked mid 10 times to that junglers 0.

Support "gg you are all r%%%%%s" Meanwhile is sitting on a sightstone with 0 wards placed.

Mid "gg enemy jungler ganked once"

Top "wtf is a jungler"

plat is considered the most toxic div in league. All streamers, pros, and youtubers say.

Lower Platinum (mostly 5, somewhat 4) is pretty toxic. I think my games in that MMR had among the most frequent toxicity I have ever experienced in League of Legends.

Thankfully, by the time I was actually playing my promos to Platinum 5 last season, I was only getting matched with Platinum 2/3 players. It saved me a significant amount of aggravation.

Anyways, sadly skill doesn't always correlate with toxic behaviour. Somebody can be competent and still be toxic as heck. Platinum is probably the worst because players are good enough to feel entitled or arrogant (being in the top 10% of the community skill-wise).

The only semi-understandable case I've seen was one of the games I had to play ADC. My game crashes within about 2 seconds of starting a fight at level 1 and I died soon after I reconnected trying to save my support during a three-man dive. My support then ran mid and top lane, feeding several kills to the enemy team by walking under the enemy tower to autoattack it.

Thankfully, everyone pretty much ignored him (nobody was really complaining or fighting in chat), so they got bored and stopped. We actually managed to win that game, despite the disadvantage.
