Saying "Yasuo/Lee Sin is balanced" DOES NOT help in explaining the high pickrate they got going on
...plus overshadowing the other champions who could've been picked.
Keep that in mind before you mention it.

they're fun
everyone wonders why they get picked over yorick and co. when yorick is a fucking snooze to play as and against. same goes for just about every tank, because they almost all play the exact same way
yeah, they're obnoxious to deal with, but they're also fun for a lot of players
Yasuo's pickrate is 10%, it's not that high, but it's high.
Also they tend to be fun, thus having a higher pickrate, and they can carry, thus being good picks in soloQ.
Then again you insult anybody who isn't anti Yasuo so.
Balance and pick rate have nothing to do with each other, Yorick is extremely strong, really hard to kill, has great pushing but his pick rate is extremely low, for example, and the reason they're considered so annoying is because they're picked so much anyways, therefore, you're trying to treat a cause as an effect, which makes this whole thing moot.
It is of my opinion that Yasou and Lee sin are not balanced that is in relation to the majority of the roster. They could be considered balanced but then the majority of the roster would have to be then considered under powered in comparison. You cant know what is balanced objectively and what isnt because riot has no public vision for the game. If yasou and lee sin is considered balanced alot of champions should be considered unplayable.
They have high pickrate not because of balance, but because they're damn fun to play. I used to hate Lee until I went and gave him a try. How I have 150k mastery on the guy. He's just fun.
