Getting sick of the Support Abuse. You trash me, dont expect me to help.

Seriously, its getting fkin rediculous. I played a support as Thresh. We were doing pretty good. I was able to land quite a few hooks. as a support I dont think I did too badly at 1/6/19 But just as we were about to charge the base, Brand and Rengar suddenly turn on me. Insulting and degrading me because...I didnt have a sightstone. Yeah I know I didnt have it. I was trying my best not to FEED, to stay alive so I could help THEM get kills. ANd I would buy wards to help with vision. But again. None of that mattered. Everything I did as a support, to help keep them alive, to help get them kills by landing hooks for them. NONE OF THAT MATTERED. suddenly it became "You dont know how to play support" "you dont know how to play league" among other insults. and I suppose those times I hooked an enemy so brand and rengar could pick up an easy kill meant nothing. Seriously..its FKIN SICK the ammount of abuse supports have to put up with. all so the rest of the team can strut around going "Look how great I am with my kills (Brand and Rengar were both well over 20+ kills. 25 and 22 respectively) But my contribution as the support means nothing because I didnt build how -EVERYONE ELSE BUILDS-

Part of the reason builds arent just "one set of items for support, one for mid, one for top,,etc.." Is because..and here is the shock. NOT EVERYONE IS THE SAME!. Everyone has thier own build strategy, thier own build path. and consider this a warning. If you throw me under the bus because I "didnt build proper" aka like everyone else, dont expect me to suddenly run to save you when you get your bacon handed to you. I do my best to win. But I am not going to be some doormat for you to walk all over and abuse just because I helped get you fed and now you think you are 'Gods gift to league".

Get over yourself, its a team game. Leave your over-inflated ego at the door. and STOP ABUSING YOUR SUPPORTS

I agree, they sound like twats... but realistically, sightstone is a pretty necessary item for any support. lol

10 green wards is 750g A sightstone is 800g and allows for more wards so you can buy a sweeper to destroy enemy wards. Gold is precious and unofficially the sightstone is the support's version of a jungle item.

In a 52:55 game, you managed to ward only 4 times.

Vision is important.

Riot should just remove the sightstone. All it does is create toxicity and teach everyone else they don't need to ward.

I think you could learn a lot from watching professional matches and reading some guides. You've played too many games for me to think you aren't that interested in the game, so I think you should take a little time outside the game to improve.

You can watch Worlds on the esports page, you can watch some popular streamers on Twitch (make sure it's a high elo player and not just a popular troll like Kaceytron), and read guides for your role and champions on sites like Mobafire. You can also spectate high elo games from the client front page.

I promise you, from the rank you're at right now, you'll improve far more by watching people that know what they are doing rather than continuing to play with people that don't.

If you were my support and didn't build a sightstone, I wouldn't respect you nearly as much despite your plays. It's incredibly way more efficient, and since everyone else may not always have the left over gold or item slots to buy wards, and can't upgrade their trinkets until level 9, sightstone for support is pretty necessary.

Plays or no plays, vision is incredibly crucial. And you know what they say, "one of the reasons some people can't climb out of bronze/silver is because they waste their gold income" and as support, your gold income is already pretty limited.

This is literally the sole reason that riot put out support items, is because supports used to spend their trash gold on nothing but wards. This is coming from a support main who's played since season 2.
