Did you know Riot offers 3 free skins w/ champions through various promotions?

If you're playing a new account, or just never got around to obtaining these skins or champions, Riot has a few promotions to help fill out your roster and also give some skins you can't obtain anywhere else!

This one used to be a Youtube promotion. However, the redemption process never worked, so you had to submit a ticket and request it. They eventually removed the promotion entirely, but if you submit a Support Ticket Blitzcrank Bot can grant you the skin anyway, immediately!

Use the category I have a question > Game & Features > General Questions, and make sure at least Unchained Alistar is in the title.

If you don't own the champion already, it will be granted to you. If you are having issues redeeming Tristana or Garen you can submit a ticket for those too and get assistance. You can find these promotions on Riot's Promotional Content (Free Swag) player support article. Be wary of scams, though; official Riot promotions will always be available through their website, either directly or advertised. If you can't find it here, it's not Riot's!

I knew about Alistar and Tristana not too long after I started, but didn't know about the Garen one until playing for maybe two years. I think I was reading some thread about the different Garen skins and someone said, "Dreadknight is cool but it's free so I don't use it." I was surprised, and then a further google search revealed that indeed it was free.

Been playing for about 2 years, never realized Alistair was a free skin. Well i'll be damned.

Dreadknight and Riot Girl are still favs for those characters

I knew about those skins being free but never knew how you could you get Unchained Alistar as there was nothing to do after I subscribed to their Youtube Channel. Feelsbad. Now now, Thank you Deep Terror Nami, You deserve that Nami Icon ;)

Thank you for posting this on the boards. It's nice to have free things — especially when you're newer to the game. I didn't know about these special promos until maybe 6 months ago when I was curious and did an in-depth Google search.

wut, I'm a lvl 6 mastery garen and I don't have dread knight garen. Never knew this promo existed....

Honestly still don't know how to get Unchained Alistar as the way you worded it with the carrots was confusing. The link you had in the section also didn't have anything about a "i have a question, games and features, or general questions"

Doesn't have phone, can't get garen skin, feelsbadman. There is a post where a rioter linked a support bot, made getting alistar alot easier if subbing didn't get you the skin.
