Tips for Lux?

The range on her E is fucked. I get that there are unfavorable match ups, but the range (and size) on this spell is huge. Certain champions, like Leblanc or Blitz for example, have a huge threat. Thus, you must play defensively unless you counter-picked them...meaning if you stay within their engage range you can potentially die in 1 rotation of abilities. So, you play back, possibly losing some CS, but hopefully utilizing your strengths outside of lane.

Lux's E seems so ranged, however, that even if you are defensive, you can be zoned away from XP and completely pushed out of lane. It;s honestly worse of a threat range than Annie (WITH flash). I can try to dodge forward and run towards her , somewhat reliable, but this spell is such a large area and reaches its destination quite quickly.

next, it's difficult to all in her. If you get Q'd as a squishy champ post 6, you're dead.

any tips or match ups advice would be appreciated. thanks

Biggest thing about Lux is her E's mana cost. It actually costs more than her ultimate. So while, yes, she can poke very safely with it if she continues to do so she'll go oom really quickly. Provided you don't let her follow up with her auto.

In other words, don't worry too much about being hit with her E alone. If you do get hit however just make sure she can't prov her passive. If you get Q'd though, yes you are pretty boned as far as trading happens, but in the same way as Anivia Q, Morg Q, LeBlanc Chains etc etc.

My best suggestion is the same for a lot of champions. If you have the IP, play Lux yourself, and look for times you lose trades and when you win trades. You can later use that experience to beat other Lux players.
