Riot does notice your efforts

Often I see posts about how Riot doesn't read your thread, or doesn't care. That is of course ridiculous, but when they don't comment personally or their comment isn't what you wanted, it might be hard for some to believe.

Just recently I received a gift from a Rioter who took note of some of my forum activity, so when I say "Riot does pay attention", I know that as a fact. They usually have good reasons for not personally addressing your concerns, and don't have the luxury of saying whatever they feel like when they do (consider they can get fired for doing so).

I merely wanted to take this opportunity to let you all know that while being kind and helpful is its own reward, so is getting a gift :P

#Try to be thoughtful, and if you're in a position to help others, do so.

P.S. I mentioned URF. It was super effective. Wild Rioter fled.

^^ this. Every single Rioter I've talked to have not only been awesome but have also been fairly active on a personal level in the forums and/or other preferred medium like Reddit. I'm always impressed by how many threads I've been linked by them. They do read here, but rarely have an opportunity to respond tactfully enough to warrant a comment. That, and some are better at responding in general than others and therefore more confident.

Of course this is on an individual level, on the group/company level I personally have a few reservations on their approach (the little that I know) on that level but as far as the people behind the system my experience has been good.
