Can we just stop

The chat is the worst thing about league, plain and simple. For years it's plagued the in-game chat and it's getting old, gratefully you can choose to mute toxic players but why give the tools to begin with. Pings are an excellent method of communication, voice chat is an easy alternative method of communication, and overwhelmingly better. No need to stop and type, quick removes you from the game. Immediate feedback and no need to type out long sentences either, which can be a pain when your trying to explain things. All in all, chat is a worthless feature which just makes the game worst, ok, maybe like 2% useful. 98% thou is just flames wars, toxic gameplay, which ALWAYS makes things worst. Not once have I ever thought chat is useful/helpful feature. Not that communicated with allies doesn't help, it just pings get it done faster. In fact, most game I never use the chat, no point. So my question/comment is do we really need chat? Is it worth having? It's overwhelming negative when it used, so why have it? Just add a "we just got an ace, so end, don't back" button and we are set.
