So... are Fiora mains the new Riven Mains?

I guess you all know what I am talking about.

Riven mains used to be known for not being good to play with. Mostly totaly arrogant "Top or feed" "Riven or troll" characters, who took all the glory if the game was going well and blamed all but them if the game went downhill, with an hyper agressive playstyle and no idea how to change that if behind.

I feel lately, Riven has totaly been replaced by Fiora in that aspect. To be honest, i barely see Riven any more, now Toplane is swarmed with Fioras and hell, I could swear these are the same people...

if someone is a fiora main chances are they are a "fotm main" which is worse than the stereotype riven main.

"Fiora mains"........ Fiora used to have a 3% pick rate. Right now she has over 10%. That's not Fiora mains. That's freelo train. Like Riven used to be once you got a hang of her mechanics.

Disgustingly overpowered champion that isnt fun to play against? Check.

Champion that supposedly has a high skillcap, but in reality can just be played completely average and dumpster most opponents? Check.

Have a style of trading that is hard for most champions to even retaliate against? Check.

Sustain/shields which make them very tanky while being able to absolutely murder you if you make the smallest mistake? Check.

Be incredibly toxic and flame if they dont get fed in lane? Check.

Yeah, Fiora Season 6 = Riven Season 5.

Fiora Riven Vayne It's nothing new, with the "SuperCarryChamps" you often get annoying Elite players who either brag all game if they do good or throw a tantrum if they lose first blood.

I don't play her often, but I will say she's pretty fun to play. Her minigame is pretty fun too. Once you understand her kit laning against her isn't too bad depending on what champion you have obviously. However it basically turns into who can play around Fiora's minigame the best.

As someone who hates EPIC RIBBEN MAINS XD, I have found fiora players to be surprisingly well mannered, even more so than the average player. I'm pretty sure it might just be a coincidence but I thought I'd share.

Riven : My current main, I love to play her, but she is just so weak compared to the Fioras, Malphites, and Poppys in top right now

Fiora players were like that before the rework too. Just that now she actually has ways to escape ganks so she no longer tells the jungler she'll AFK if they don't gank for her, they find different ways to let the salt out

I personally just pick Mordekaiser and crush their dreams entirely.
