Solo and team Ranked games need to have separate MMR systems

League of Legends Match History

Before you down vote take a look at my match history. I do well, and have advanced 4 tiers in 4 days. So I am not worried about reaching my goal (of plat) this season by any means. But..... I feel like a separate MMR system needs to be created for solo queue from the pre-made team ranking system since the nature of it is entirely different. Based on the fact that you are matched with complete strangers and lose mmr, lp, and everything based simply off win / loss is flawed because of the nature of the game. I won't go into explanations because anyone who understands the game should understand how detrimental and difficult someone going 0 / 10 can be to game. It just feels unfair that you are forced to play dozens and dozens of games just to get to a point where you are actually matched with people of similar skill. Maybe 1/20 games do I have 4 other people all who are on the same page, against 5 people who are all on the same page. It makes it really difficult to play the game as it is meant to be played. The fact it is based off solely win/loss is an inaccurate gauge of talent, game knowledge, and ability. I know this will be down voted a lot because "GET GOOD" people, but again. Look at my match history. I am advancing, and I am good, however I still believe the MMR system for solo queue needs to take into account in game factors.
I have dozens and dozens of friends who play league ranging from unranked to D2. We all compete relatively well against each other in lan. But to me it seems riot builds their entire game around the LCS, not around the general player base. So its a mute point that I know wont change. Just voicing my opinion.

It already does. There may be some crossover in the initial seeding for a team, but once you have a Ranked 5s team its MMR is completely independent of your solo queue MMR.

I think you misunderstood my post. I am saying I think your in game performance should be taken into account for solo queue. I know an algorithm could be concocted to gauge that and match solo queues of similar skill. As I said its seldom the case... As in my case, I often decimate throughout the game, and that is not fun, and it doesn't help me improve greatly. I want balanced games where I fight and play along side people who all play on approximately the same level. Unfortunately it doesn't happen with solo queue. I feel like its entirely inaccurate in the fact it doesn't take everything into account.

I'm not bitching cause I can't get promoted. I can, and I can eventually place myself what level I feel I can compete (which I feel is plat currently, I have a few things I need to practice on and by no means think I am perfect). The problem is how profoundly long it can take and how many games you have to play to get to the place. Some games are unwinnable in solo queue, again due to the nature of it. You have no control over the other people, there's often little synergy. So I just feel additional consideration on in game performance could be taken into account to more accurately match teams. As I said its like 1/20 games that seems like a equal match up skill wise. One sided games teach no one anything. The victors or the losers, and to often in solo queue that's the case before the game even starts.
