Do you guys think it's ok to autolock new champs on release day?

Just thought I would get some opinions on what you guys thought. When a new champ comes out every one wants to play them and most people who select that champ first play them, Do you guys think it is Ok to auto lock in norms a brand new champ on release or should people call their roles first? Either way people will auto lock either way.
