What's the difference between a RIOT staff member, and a Senior Arbiter?

Always wondered what the difference was on this, I see a lot less few Senior Arbiters, and why are their names bright blue?

The only one who I had seen respond to posts was DTN but they were removed from the list because of some stuff that happened (can't remember details and I was angry at the time so I'm bound to get it wrong).

Other arbiters are rarely seen commenting unless specifically called upon like in a post like this.

The way I understand it, they act like Board watchers and report it to be further on looked upon. At least, that's what I got from what TheCurator showed me.

Arbiters post primarily in PB&M in regards to in-game issues. I (a Moderator) reply to posts in PB&M about Boards Moderation issues. Rioters respond to whatever they feel like depending on the section and their job role.

Oh, gotcha, thanks for the clear up!
