So what happened to the bonus RP on purchase?

Isn't it usually doubled as a promotion for the new season? I've been waiting for it but I've got my eye on a certain worldbreaker skin, and there doesn't seem to be an announcement somewhere. Christmas perhaps?

"We're (mostly) not doing those anymore. Summary is that player base as a whole didn't appreciate them as much as other promos..." link: https://twitter.com/WizardCrab/status/801234645098512384

Cool thanks. Tho a brief googling shows me that they never actually did this for the new seasons anyway, so maybe christmas anyway who knows (shrug)
