Help Me Understand "Nerf Irelia"
I don't see anything that makes her overpowered let alone strong. If you can't kill an Irelia your team comp probably consists of 5 Jannas.

Ugh, first off janna is a really good support if played correctly (Which I agree isn't often). Nerf Irelia is a joke pertaining to how often riot would nerf her instead of somebody that is overpowered at the time. Hence the saying "___ Is overpowered, nerf irelia."
At one point she was nerfed for three consecutive patches, which spawned the "Better Nerf Irelia" meme.
Now it's mostly people complaining when they don't know how to play against her.
